Original Nestle Toll House Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 Cup Flour
(2 1/2 for high alt + 2 tsp water) or
320g (352g for high alt + 2 tsp water)
1 tsp baking soda =5.6g
1 tsp or salt = 5.6g
1 Cup (2 sticks) butter
3/4 Cup sugar
2/3 Cup for high alt = 160g (110 for high alt)
3/4 Cup packed brown sugar
2/3 for high alt = 160g (110 for high alt)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 3/4 = 2 Cups chocolate chips
1 Cup shopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 375 deg F
Combine Flour, baking soda and salt into a small bowl.
Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract into large mixer bowl until creamy
Add eggs one at a time and beat mixture to keep creamy consistency
Add Dry ingredients from small bowl and bet mixture to keep consistency
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
Spoon a clump onto a baking pan. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. High altitude baking 8-10 mins. Pan cookie for 17-19 mins. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes once out of the oven; then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
